Numbers For Historic $2 Billion Powerball Drawn: Here's Where People Won Big

The winning numbers for a record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball Jackpot have been drawn and there are winners in several states, lottery officials report.

The winning numbers were white balls 10, 33, 41, 47, 56 and red Powerball 10. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

The drawing was held just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8 after a delay from one participating lottery needing more time to process its sales and play data. 

One lucky winner in California will go home with the grand prize, the California State Lottery said on Twitter. Three more tickets also matched five winning numbers in the Golden State, the lottery continued.

In addition, there were several smaller winners in Massachusetts. A ticket worth $1 million was sold at West Squantum Market & Liquors in Quincy while nine tickets worth $50,000 were sold at the following locations: 

  • Cumberland Farms, 1128 Oakhill Avenue in Attleborough
  • Thistle & Shamrock, 62 Walden Street in Cambridge
  • New Mart Variety, 69 Sterling Street in Clinton
  • Speedway, 91 Faunce Corner Mall Road in North Dartmouth
  • Speedway, 373 Bridge Street in Dedham
  • Nobscot’s Cafe, 847 Edgell Road in Framingham
  • Stop & Shop, 3900 Falmouth Road in Marstons Mills
  • Main Street Variety, 335 Main Street in Medford
  • Cumberland Farms, 105 Post Office Park in Wilbraham

All winning tickets were Quic Pic tickets and matched the first five numbers of the Powerball Jackpot, lottery offiicials said.
